Nolan Ryan's Guaranteed Tender Names New Board Chairman

HUNTSVILLE, Tex., December 1, 2006. Nolan Ryan's Guaranteed Tender Meats, an operation of Beefmaster Cattlemen, LLP is pleased to announce Ronnie Wallace as the new chairman of the board of directors for 2007. The company also welcomes Craig Smith as the most recent addition to the board.

Wallace has served on the board of directors for the past two years and succeeds Carl Hubble as the Chairman. Wallace brings nearly 30 years of foodservice distribution experience to the board gained during his career with the Ben E. Keith Company. Prior to his retirement, Wallace served as Executive Vice President of the Ben E. Keith Company and President of Ben E. Keith Foods. He currently serves on the board of Fired Up, Inc., owners of Johnny Carino?s Italian Restaurants, and operates a ranch near Comanche, Texas.

Craig Smith is the CEO of Interfresh, Inc., a wholesale fresh fruit distributor in the retail and foodservice sectors based in Fullerton, California. Appointed to the board earlier this year, Smith has more than 20 years experience in marketing perishable products in both retail and foodservice businesses in California and the western United States. In addition to his food distribution expertise, Smith also is a partner in two restaurants in southern California.
